Why are conspiracy theories so popular?

 Conspiracy theories are very popular because some people like to feel more inteligent than others. People who believe these think that they know some kind of secret and they try to share it with others. When someone disagrees with them they call him "blind", "ignorant" etc. even though thy don't have any argumentation. When someone tries to explain them that they are wrong they close in a bubble even more. For example people on facebook that think that covid is a conspiracy or covid vaccines are a depopulation tool, don't even try to argue, they immediately start to offend sending memes about people who dont believe them. People believe conspiracy theories because they just like feel better than others.

    This sentence seems unnecessary ("When someone tries to explain them that they are wrong they close in a bubble even more."), especially in such a short paragraph.

The ocean cleanup

The ocean cleanup is a non profit organization, established by Boyan Slat. They develop new technologies, that help cleaning plastic in the ocean. Currently they are using system 002(jenny). It is a u-shaped barrier which is 800 meters long and 3 meters deep. It is carried by 2 vessels. In the center of barrier there is collection zone, once a week it is emptied, and the plastic is send to recycle. The ocean cleanup say, that 80% plastic in oceans comes from 1000 most pollutted rivers, so they developed the interceptor. The interceptor collects almost all of the plastic floating down the river, and it allows boats to still pass it. It is fully solar-powered, and it is fully automated. When it is almost full, it sends a message to local operator, which come empty it on the side of the river, and send trash to local waste management. Wildlife recovery in Europe

European Wildlife Comeback Report, commisioned by Rewiling Europe monitores 50 species in europe: 24 mammals, 25 birds and one reptile. It shows great increase in number of many wildlife species, such as grey wolfes, white-tailed eagles or brown bears. Number of grey wolves  increased by 1800%, number of white-tailed eagles by 445% since 1970s, and brown bear population increased by 44%, since 1960s. Eurasian beaver increased its range by 835% and increased its species abundance by 16000% since 1960s. This upturn is happening mostly because of human efforts. People started thinking more about enviroment, governments started giving animals habitats to live and legal protection.
